Planning documents have been filed for a potential Museum of Illusions venue, which would be located in the former Sports Direct store on Market Street if approved.
Situated next to Tesco and opposite the O2 Shop and Urban Outfitters, the site has been vacant since the popular sports store relocated to the Arndale last March.
Launched in 2015, Museum of Illusions provides a mix of education and entertainment through interactive and mind-altering exhibits which make visitors question reality.
