But two moments in the match have been heavily debated by fans and those included the decision to award United a free-kick in the first half from which Bruno Fernandes set up Martial for the opening goal.
Another incident which was discussed on Sky Sports' Ref Watch with Gallagher was the decision by Mike Dean to hand Fred a yellow card for a perceived dive in the City penalty area during the first half.
