Former Rangers star Claudio Caniggia in court amid sex abuse allegations

Former Rangers star Claudio Caniggia has appeared in court after his ex-wife claimed he sexually abused and threatened to kill her.

The 55-year-old was married to Mariana Nannis for 31 years and had three children with her before splitting up in 2019. Caniggia, who played for the Gers between 2001 and 2003, met model Sofia Bonelli the same year his marriage ended.
