A former pub and nearby car park are set to be redeveloped into a small industrial estate. Plans have been published to convert the former Anchor Inn pub on Eagle Street, Bolton into a ‘co-working space’.

An area close to the pub, currently being used as a car park, would be used to build four industrial units, each spanning around 1,000 – 1,500 sqft.

The proposed site, close to St Peter’s Way, is within the Mill Hill employment area. The planned new industrial estate will also border Bury Old Road, Elton Street, and Thornton Street.

A design and access statement on behalf of applicant Mr K Mistry has been published by Bolton Council.
