The former Newton Banks print works in Hyde is to be transformed into 122 new homes. Situated just north of the town centre next to the M67, what is left of the old industrial site will be bulldozed to make way for the collection of family-sized properties.
The majority of the houses being built by Eccleston Homes - 72 of them - will have four-bedrooms, and the rest will be three and two-bedroom houses.

There will be 18 homes available for affordable rates, at up to 80 per cent of market value. Only a small number of objectors lodged concerns with the council over the plans.
