The United States’ 39th President has passed away. It’s with heavy hearts we report that former POTUS Jimmy Carter passed away at a record-breaking 100 years old on Sunday. The Carter Center on X (Twitter) revealed in a post: His son James E.

Carter also confirmed the news to the Washington Post, noting he was surrounded by family. Per CNN, preparations for a funeral have begun. He was a Nobel Peace Prize winner and the “longest-lived president in U.S. history,” according to The Carter Center.
