Manchester United striker and member of the famous Busby Babes Alex Dawson has passed away aged 80. The club confirmed on Friday that the striker, who played at Old Trafford for four seasons, has died.In a tweet, Manchester United said: "Our deepest sympathies are with the loved ones of former United forward and Busby Babe, Alex Dawson, who has sadly passed away at the age of 80."He will be fondly remembered by all of us at the club."May he rest in peace."Dawson scored 45 goals in 80 league games for the Red Devils after being signed by Matt Busby as a youngster.The Aberdeen-born striker was not selected by Sir Matt Busby for their fateful trip to Belgrade in 1958, which saw several team-mates lose their live in the Munich Air.
