Former 'Geordie Shore' celebrity Scotty T has been disqualified from driving following a police traffic stop that revealed he was over three times the legal limit for cocaine.

The TV personality, officially named Scott Timlin, was pulled over while driving his Land Rover Discovery in Kenton, Newcastle, on 18 October last year, where tests confirmed the presence of cocaine and its metabolite Benzoylecgonine.

On 3 February, the now 36 year old faced Newcastle Magistrates' Court, pleading guilty to two counts of driving with controlled substances above the specified limit.

The court heard how he had 32 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood, surpassing the maximum allowed 10 micrograms, as well as 800 micrograms of Benzoylecgonine, considerably higher than the 50-microgram threshold.
