Former EastEnders star Jake Wood made an admission as he gave an update on his latest project on Good Morning Britain. The actor, who portrayed Max Branning in the BBC soap up until February 2021, joined hosts Kate Garraway and Ed Balls on Monday morning's show (April 8).
The 51-year-old told them all about his new theatre show, London Tide, which begins its run in the capital on Wednesday until June 22.
This isn't the star's first foray into theatre. He previously appeared in the West End's 2:22 A Ghost Story alongside both Cheryl and Lily Allen. Explaining the premise of the production, Jake explained how London Tide is based on the Charles Dickens novel Our Mutual Friend.
