Former deputy South Lanarkshire Council chief executive dies

The former deputy chief executive of South Lanarkshire Council has died aged 82.James Love, formerly of Hamilton District Council, passed away peacefully at Hairmyres Hospital on Saturday, December 18.Born in Mollinsburn near Cumbernauld on August 29, 1939, Jim later moved to South Lanarkshire living in Larkhall, Meikle Earnock and latterly in Barncluith, Hamilton, for the last 50 years.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
