Former Celtic FC hero saddles up for historic Lanarkshire celebration

A former Celtic star has returned to his roots in celebrating one of Lanarkshire 's most iconic occasions. Yesterday's Lanark Lanimer Day saw thousands line the streets and take part in its historic parade.

He Tweeted: "Lanark Lanimer Day 2022. Have a great day fellow Lanarkians". Joyful scenes continued throughout yesterday as Lanark residents and visitors lapped up the occasion.
