Forensic officers are continuing to scour the scene of a house fire for evidence after a mum tragically died. The blaze broke out at a home on Ramsden Farm, a cluster of million-pound homes off Roundthorn Road in Middleton, in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 10).

Fire crews, police officers and paramedics descended on the scene. Sadly, the woman - who was aged in her 30s - was found dead inside the house.

The M.E.N. also understands there were a number of children in the house who escaped the blaze but the victim, understood to be a mum, could not be saved in time.
