Mancunians will be treated to high temperatures and sunny conditions this weekend, according to Met Office predictions. After a full week of wet and dreary conditions, the weekend is set to have some periods with sunshine and temperatures reaching as high as 19C.
From Saturday, clouds will begin to break, making way for long periods of sunshine throughout the afternoon with only light winds.
By Sunday, temperatures will remain relatively warm but there will be a higher risk of rainy conditions in some parts, the Met office said. While Saturday may start with some cloud, this will quickly dissipate in what should be a pleasant day in the sunshine. Temperatures could reach up to 19C in Manchester, just a little above average for the time of year.
