For The Love of Dogs return date confirmed as Alison Hammond takes over from late Paul O’Grady

One year on since the tragic death of TV legend Paul O’Grady, his iconic show For The Love of Dogs will once again be returning to our screens, this time with This Morning and GBBO star Alison Hammond at the helm.The show, which follows the day to day running of Battersea Dogs and Cats home as it tries to find forever homes for countless animals in need, was previously hosted by Paul for 11 years, and even counted Alison among it’s regular viewers up until his death.

Now, stepping into Paul’s shoes to continue showcasing the work of the phenomenal charity, Alison will come face to face to a wide variety of dogs during her time at the centre, and will even roll her sleeves up to muck in and help with the day to day running of Battersea.
