‘For All Mankind’ Spinoff ‘Star City’ Casts Anna Maxwell Martin

variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter Anna Maxwell Martin is the latest addition to the cast of the “For All Mankind” spinoff “Star City,” Variety has learned.
Martin joins previously announced cast member Rhys Ifans in the alt-history drama, which was originally announced in April 2024.
As previously reported, the series will tell the story the alternative history of the space race like “For All Mankind,” but this time from the Soviet Union perspective.
The official description for the show describes it as “a propulsive, paranoid thriller that takes us back to the key moment in the alt-history retelling of the space race – when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon.
