Footballers from Wishaw school kitted out with new strips thanks to two companies

Talented young footballers from a Wishaw school have been kitted out thanks to the generosity of two local companies. Netherton Primary pupils were in need of new strips as their talented young players take on other schools in the area.Thankfully two local businesses, owned by former pupils, decided to step forward and help the school out - and even brought along their former coach in order to present the new strips.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Both played in the school football team when they were pupils.“When presenting the boys with their new strips, they invited along the janitor at the time Jim Christie.
