Football fans will be allowed to buy alcoholic drinks without purchasing food ahead of their return to stadiums this week. Two thousand supporters will be allowed in for Arsenal's Europa League game against Rapid Vienna at the Emirates on Thursday, while Spurs will also be permitted the same number for their match against the Gunners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.
With England's national lockdown ending on Wednesday the country will be divided into three Tiers, each with different rules on what people are and aren't allowed to do.
Under current restrictions, those in Tier 2, which London will be in, are only allowed to purchase alcohol in pubs and restaurants if it is alongside a substantial meal.
