Footage has revealed the tense moment police chased a 'stolen car' through the streets of south Manchester on Tuesday night (January 14).
Officers spotted the vehicle, suspected of being used to commit burglaries across Greater Manchester, close to Cheshire at around 10pm.
A short time later, Tactical Aid Unit officers then sighted the stolen vehicle and began to follow it. The driver failed to stop for and a chase commenced through south Manchester and Burnage.
Dashcam footage, released by Greater Manchester Police, shows how the vehicle was reaching speeds of 100mph in a 40-zone before becoming boxed in in a dead end.
