The incident occurred last month in Oldham, when David Jones went to check the cameras at his MOT garage. He was initially checking to see if a customer had dropped off their vehicle at the shop, reports Manchester Evening News. However, he was left puzzled on the morning of November 28 when he wasn't able to access the external cameras.
David said: "I managed to get on to a different one and when I looked back I saw that someone had been up to no good."When reviewing the footage, the businessman saw a thief stealing his CCTV cameras whilst up a ladder.
However, the robber fell off the ladder as he attempted to grab the cameras. The bungling thief injured himself in the process, leaving behind a small pool of blood for police to analyse, Mr Jones said.
