Have you ever wondered why sometimes it seems your leftovers the next day for lunch taste so much better than the same food you ate the night before?

You’re certainly not the only one, as three quarters (74%) of Brits have proclaimed that last night’s dinner tastes better as leftovers.

Research from Asda found that it’s not just an urban myth, certain foods really do taste better 24 hours after cooking. The top five meals people thought were better as leftovers include curry, casserole, pizza, chilli con carne and spaghetti bolognese.
