Food hygiene 'improvement required' at Gargieston nursery 'not related to food'

A Kilmarnock nursery has been handed an 'improvement required' notice in relation to the food hygiene scheme.Gargieston Early Childhood Centre, which is attached to Gargieston Primary, was inspected earlier this month with the results recently published.East Ayrshire Council say that the Dundonald Road facility's notice was in relation to a minor issue with the structure of the premises.The local authority also pointed out that the issue was not related to food handling.An East Ayrshire Council spokesperson said: "East Ayrshire Council can confirm that a recent scheduled Food Law intervention highlighted a minor issue with the structure of the premises."This was not related to food handling."
