A care home where medication 'was not always safely managed or recorded correctly' has been told it 'requires improvement' following an inspection.
A report into Haylands Residential Home for Gentlemen in Urmston has been published by the Care Quality Commission which carried out an unannounced visit on August 24 and 25.
The home's overall rating was 'requires improvement' and it got the same rating for the safety and leadership categories. For effectiveness, caring and responsiveness it was deemed to be 'good'.
Haylands provides accommodation and personal care to up to 24 people, supporting people over the age of 65, including people living with dementia.
