Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters and Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to appear in a tribute show for the late Neil Peart of Rush.The late Rush drummer died from a brain tumour in January after quietly battling brain cancer for the past three years.The tribute event, which takes place this Saturday night (September 12) will serve as a benefit for brain tumour research at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.A ticket to live-stream the show will cost $12.99 (£9.99) and will be aired on Fite.TV.
The tribute is part of the 2020 Modern Drummer Festival.Other drummers performing include Rick Allen of Def Leppard, Charlie Benante of Anthrax, Ray Luzier of Korn and more.Peart, who had retired from drumming in 2015 after recording 19.
