Flooding chaos hit Edinburgh as the capital was battered by heavy downpours.Parts of the city have been hammered amid a yellow warning for rain from the Met Office, while the city's bypass was brought to a standstill due waterlogged roads.One video shows a city park completely drowned in water after a burn burst its banks.
Footage shows park benches almost fully submerged.The clip taken at Braidburn Park in the Morningside area of the city shows water levels rising.Elsewhere in the city the Water of Leith burst its banks, with high levels of the water covering trees near Murrayfield.
Locals were warned to be 'cautious'. Water of Leith Conservation Trust wrote on X: "River levels are looking very high and rising with some risk of flooding on paths, please be cautious when venturing out!"Council chiefs in the capital earlier moved to close down West Princes Street gardens and Inch Park.
Photos from Inch Park show high levels of water covering the open green space, with one resident joking the park now had a 'pond'.
