nme.comFlavor Flav has reportedly submitted his bid to become a torchbearer at the 2028 Olympic Games – find out more below.The rapper and Public Enemy member, who has been an ardent supporter of the Olympics this year, has revealed on a recent episode of the Politickin’ podcast with Gavin Newsom, Marshawn Lynch and Doug Hendrickson that he’s committed to being a torchbearer for the United States at the next Olympic Games.In fact, Flav has already submitted the paperwork for his bid as a torchbearer.
He told the podcast’s hosts: “I put my bid in already. I said, ‘If Snoop can carry the torch in Paris — come on, man — Flav can carry that bad boy in L.A.,’ and Snoop did a fantastic job, man.”Should Flavor Flav’s bid be approved, he would follow in the footsteps of Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams, who were both torchbearers for this year’s Olympic Games.
