This Saturday, a flash mob event will take place on what would have been the opening day of Oldham Coliseum's legendary Pantomime.
The event will be staged outside the legendary theatre as part of a continued effort to save the building, which closed back in March.
Organiser says the event will be a celebration of the theatre’s significance, with participants wearing colourful costumes, carrying banners, handing out badges and decorating the gathering with balloons.
Local residents and loyal audience members are inviting the public to gather with them outside the historic theatre at 3.30pm to be part of an afternoon of solidarity and support to save the building.
