There is just over a week to go until the January transfer window slams shut and there is not yet any sign of any major business being completed by Manchester United.
Despite the club being keen to add a holding midfielder to their ranks during this month's window, United have experienced an incredibly quiet and calm few weeks so far, with no players having been added to the squad and only three players having departed on loan for the remainder of the season.
While situations can change quickly in the January transfer window — certainly on deadline day — United are not expecting to add to Ralf Rangnick's squad between now and the bell at 11pm next Monday evening.
Nevertheless, the club is continuing to be linked with a whole host of names as the final week of the window sparks into life.
