A managerial record was broken on Tuesday with the announcement that Julian Nagelsmann is to join Bayern Munich from RB Leipzig at the end of the season.
The highly-rated 33-year-old was also believed to be on Tottenham's radar, but Bayern acted quickly to ensure he would be the man to replace Hansi Flick for the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
Nagelsmann's contract at Leipzig was due to run until 2023, and for that reason Bayern are having to pay a world-record fee for a coach in order to land their man.
