An inspirational East Kilbride man will be at the heart of an epic fundraising challenge to Mount Everest Base Camp this week.Ryan McNair made history by becoming the first teenager with cerebral palsy to take part in the Crossfit Games in 2015.Now the 24-year-old fitness fan is proud to be supporting his gym buddy John Stein who will take on the mammoth 14-day and 5,644 metre hike to Mount Everest Base Camp on Friday.John, who trains with Ryan at Base Fitness & CrossFit in Greenhills, has already smashed his £2000 fundraising target for Cerebral Palsy Scotland which he says has been a massive support to Ryan and his family over the years.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
