First picture of Scots woman found dead in Airdrie house

A woman found dead at a house in Airdrie has been named as Stacey Warnock.The 51-year-old's body was discovered by police at a property in Barra Drive on Tuesday morning.

A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.Residents in the quiet cul-de-sac told how Stacey had kept to herself in recent years after moving into the street.One neighbour told the Record: "She has lived here for several years.

She was nice and quiet. You didn't see her much recently. She didn't seem to leave the house a lot."Another said: “She was a lovely woman and very polite.

I would speak to her in passing just about the street or local stuff. Last time I saw her was earlier this year when I went over to ask about an elderly neighbour."A third neighbour said: "She moved in years ago but over the years I've seen less and less of her.
