Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a man who died after a collision with three cars in East Kilbride. John Paul McGinty, 35, died on the A726 at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 7.
Emergency services raced to the busy road but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene. Tributes poured in for the popular man - also known as Jai - who was described as "one in a million" by loved ones.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway of the road, east of the roundabout junction with Murrayhill and Cornwall Street.
Police say enquiries into the crash are "ongoing".Paying tribute, one commented: "I’m really going to miss you but I am so happy we had that weekend together recently.
