A man who was stabbed to death in a daylight attack in Glasgow has been named locally as Brian Gough. The 27-year-old was knifed by two men outside a bookmakers on Saracen Street, Possil, at around 5pm on Saturday.He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.
Police launched a murder investigation to catch his attackers. One eyewitness described the scene as a 'bloodbath'. The resident told the Daily Record he saw the victim lying on the ground covered in blood.He added: "It was shocking, the young guy was lying on the street.
There was blood everywhere."It was shocking. The place was swarming with police."A shopkeeper, who didn't want to be named, said he ran into the street when the commotion unfolded.
He said: "There were a lot of people screaming and shouting. Then a number of police arrived and they taped the area off."A police cordon remained in place on Monday.
