A top Scottish hotel is set to open a one-of-a-kind winter retreat, creating Glasgow's first outdoor spa – complete with an open-air hot tub – when it opens in the city this November.

Winter Spa Garden, THAW, is set to launch at the Kimpton Blythswood Square with residents at the five-star destination hotel able to enjoy Scandinavian-inspired luxury.

Guests can look forward to immersing themselves in the elements at the pop-up spa – situated in the exclusive secluded courtyard of the city’s only five-star hotel – which features facilities including an open-air hot tub and purpose-built sauna and steam rooms.Residents at the hotel can enjoy the new outdoor experience seven days-a-week, alongside the spa’s full 55-minute treatment menu, while non-residents will be able to book a treatment or the Unwind & Dine package at weekends.THAW’s arrival also heralds a new era at Kimpton Blythswood Square, with work already underway as part of an extensive reimagination of the hotel’s award-winning Spa, which will see the addition of a whole new spa, blissful wellness area and unique snowfall feature.
