To which she replies, "I'm your future wife. "The Time Traveler's Wife is directed by Game of Thrones director - David Nutter, whom Leslie reunites with after appearing in the series.
The new series looks set to be both romantic and action-packed and marks Steven Moffat's first go at writing for American audiences.
During Moffat's tenure on Doctor Who, he cast Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi in the title role. Alongside Mark Gatiss (pictured with Moffat below), he also wrote Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
