IKEA finally confirmed the opening date for its long awaited new store which is due to open its doors next week - with pictures and videos showing the outside of the branch.
The Swedish furniture giant will open up in Preston, but the store will be a little different to the usual huge warehouse-style stores.
It is launching a Plan and Order Point and will instead offer a free click and collect service and a kitchen and bathroom showroom. IKEA has previously said it intends to open in late July but had previously remained tight lipped on the exact opening date.
However, it has been revealed it will open for the first time at 9am on July 24. Bookings for in-store kitchen planning are now available.
