First glimpse of what Scottish gyms will look like when they reopen

Gyms, swimming pools and indoor sports courts have been given the green light to resume from August 31 up north.PureGym has revealed what rules and safety measures will be in place when gyms open their doors again after almost five months during the coronavirus pandemic.

Floor markers, cleaning kits and contactless entry are just some of the rules in place to keep gym-goers safe while they exercise post-lockdown.Equipment and layouts will be changed to allow for social distancing and new self-cleaning stations have been introduced to wipe down kit.Working out with someone else or ‘spotting’ will also be banned to ensure social distancing.Here is how PureGym will keep fitness fans safe:PureGym have created the space members need to work out.
