Fire breaks out at Kilmarnock house as firefighters respond to early morning blaze

Kilmarnock residents awoke to sounds of sirens this morning (Tuesday, January 21) after a house fire. Emergency services were called to the scene on Sutherland Drive, in the New Farm Loch area, at around 6.35am.No one was injured by the fire which was quickly brought under control by firefighters.

Three crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident as police cordoned off the street.
