Tatiana Siegel Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk have signed on to write a reimagining of the 1999 horror comedy film “Idle Hands” for Sony Pictures that Jason Reitman will produce.
Wolfhard and Bryk also are being eyed to direct the new “Idle Hands,” following the sale of their festival hit “Hell of a Summer,” which they co-wrote, co-directed, co-starred in and produced.

The indie distributor behind horror breakout “Longlegs” plans to release the film in summer 2025. “Idle Hands” marks a reteaming for the duo and Reitman, who worked with Wolfhard and Bryk on two “Ghostbusters” films and “Saturday Night” for Sony Pictures.
