Jane Andrews became the target of a major manhunt back in 2001 when she went on the run following the brutal murder of her boyfriend.
She was the former dresser to Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and her royal connections led police to ask Fergie for help. The story is the subject of a new ITV documentary - Fergie's Killer Dresser: The Jane Andrews Story - which airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
Andrews had spent nine years working for the the Duchess, but had left the job three years before the murder. The pair are said to have maintained a friendly relationship and kept in touch via birthday and Christmas cards.
