Felicity Jones to Star In & Produce Formula 1 Series for Prime Video, Details Revealed

There’s a new F1 TV show in the works at Prime Video! Academy Award nominee Felicity Jones is attached to star and executive produce a brand new drama series titled “One” for the streamer, Variety has revealed.

The publication reports the show is currently in the development stage, but will also mark Formula 1‘s “first officially sanctioned scripted series.” Keep reading to find out more… One is said to “focus on a failing family-owned racing team, led by Jones’ character, as it contends with fierce personalities, ever-changing rivals and multi-million-dollar stakes.” Oscar-nominated Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby are set to write and executive produce.

At this time, it’s unclear if the new series will work alongside Formula 1 at race weekends, much like Brad Pitt‘s F1 movie has been doing for the past two years. Felicity was just recently nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor, Film at the upcoming 2025 Golden Globes for her role in The Brutalist, which is also up for Best Motion Picture, Drama among other nominations.
