Naman Ramachandran Taiwan’s government-backed creative content agency TAICCA has struck a significant deal with European production powerhouse Federation Studios, it was announced Tuesday at Series Mania in Lille, France.
The strategic alliance aims to establish a fast track for creative talent, producers, investors and distributors across both regions, potentially opening new avenues for Taiwanese content in Europe and vice versa.
The Taiwan Creative Content Agency, established in 2019 under the Ministry of Culture’s umbrella, serves as a facilitator for Taiwan’s content industries spanning film, television, publishing, pop music, and animation.
This partnership marks a notable step in its global strategy. Federation Studios, founded by Pascal Breton and co-led by Lionel Uzan and Marco Chimenz, represents a new wave of independent European studios focused on creating high-quality original productions for global audiences.
