One of the stars on the breakout Israeli thriller Fauda has been seriously injured while fighting in Gaza as a member of the Israel Defense Forces, according to multiple Israeli media reports.
Idan Amedi, who’s played Sagi on Fauda since 2017, was wounded by shrapnel while taking part in an operation to destroy Hamas tunnels.
About an hour before Amadi was injured, N12 reporter Nitzan Shapira spoke to the actor in Gaza and the he said, “I’m fine, a little tired.” Speaking of the tunnel network that was the target of his mission, Amadi said, “What was built here is crazy, crazy.” You can see the interview below.
