Adria Arjona gives Andy Garcia a kiss on the cheek at the premiere of their new movie, Father of the Bride, during closing night of the 2022 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival over the weekend.
The on-screen father and daughter duo were joined by co-stars Gloria Estefan, Diego Boneta, Chloe Fineman, and Casey Thomas Brown, and director Gary Alazraki at the event held at TCL Chinese Theatre. Jon Huertas, Oscar Nunez, Sofia Milos and Edward James Olmos were also at the event to support.
Ahead of the screening, Adria opened up about the kind words Kimberly Williams-Paisley sent to her after the new movie was announced. Kim had previously played the role of the daughter in the 1991 version. She added that she cried over her sweet message: “It was the first time that I realized, ‘Oh my god, I’m the bride in the Father of the Bride.’ So that was really special.” Now, Adria is excited for Kim to watch the movie: “Then hopefully she’ll reach out and be like, ‘You did all right.’” Father of the Bride will start streaming on HBO Max on June 16.
