The father of the Plymouth gunman who shot and killed five people before taking his own life has spoken publicly for the first time about the massacre.
Mark Davison told a hearing how he "kicked up a fuss" over how his 22-year-old son Jake had managed to obtain a shotgun and how he was dealt with by authorities in the months leading up to the massacre.
Jake went on to carry out Britain's worst mass shooting for more than a decade on August 12. He shot and killed his mother Maxine, a three-year-old girl and three others before turning the gun on himself.
Maxine and fisherman Mark are understood to have lived in the Shetlands in the 1990s and the gunman's older siblings, Zoe and Josh, were born there.
