EastEnders fans are asking questions about a crucial character the soap may have 'forgotten' in Cindy Beale's dramatic return storyline.
Thursday's episode saw Cindy arrive in London, with the intention of making her way back to Walford. Her son Peter is already in the Square.
Cindy told Ian that she was heading back to London to bring Peter home but Ian was not impressed. But viewers have been questioning whether Cindy Junior could be written into the explosive Beale storyline, which is about to be ramped up in episodes starting next week. @Michael11037761 tweeted: "@bbceastenders #EastEnders have the writers forgot cindy jr exists there’s been no mention of her at all." While @Fraser_Joneses commented: "Cindy Jr needs to come back tho, she always thought she was the reason her mum was dead, never getting a chance to know her, we need to see her reaction #Eastenders." Fans may not be far off though as Michelle Collins, who plays Cindy, has teased a possible return of her daughter.
Viewers thought Cindy Snr died off-screen during labour, meaning Cindy Jnr was raised by her aunt and grandmother. Her on-screen daughter was last seen on the soap in 2015 when actress Mimi Keene left the show.
