Fans have rushed to show their support for Janette Manrara as the new mum gave an update on her recovery struggle. The dancer-turned-presenter and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec announced the arrival of their baby girl over the weekend after keeping their first child's gender a secret to surprise their family and friends.

Janette, 39, and Aljaz, 33, announced their daughter's arrival on Saturday (July 29) in a post to both of their social media pages.

Sharing a black and white photo, the snap showed Janette cradling the newborn in her hospital bed while Aljaz leant over them, unable to hide his smile from the camera.

Alongside the adorable image, the pair revealed that they'd named their daughter Lyra Rose Skorjanec and that she was born on Friday (July 28) and their fans and celebrity pals rushed to share their congratulations.
