Susanna Reid fans were left taken-aback when the Good Morning Britain presenter shared a snap with her 80 year old mum Sue Smith.The TV broadcast journalist was celebrating her 51st birthday and enjoying some mum and daughter bonding time as they posed for a selfie - then sharing the joy on her Instagram page.

Susanna, who was left in tears during an interview on GMB earlier this week, captioned her sweet post: “THANK YOU! To my lovely Mum for 51 years (and to my Daddy too!) “And to everyone who has sent gorgeous birthday messages,” the mum-of-three added.
