Famous pals have rallied round Liz Hurley after son Damian was denied a slice of tragic dad Steve Bing’s £200million family fortune.

Naomi Campbell and Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon have sent messages of support to the family. And Liz’s ex Hugh Grant, godfather to Damian, is also believed to be backing the pair.

Model Liz, 56, shared her despair with friends after Damian, 19, was disinherited by the family of his late father, who killed himself last year at 55.

Film producer Steve had a distant relationship with his son, born during an 18-month romance with the actress. She had dated Bing for 18 months between 2000 and 2002 before they split amid a bitter paternity row when he initially refused to have anything to do with Damian.
