The family of the woman at the centre of a murder investigation in Salford - attacked in front of her horrified children - say she was 'cruelly' taken from them 'due to domestic violence'.
An investigation into the death of Perseverance Ncube, 35, in Little Hulton is ongoing. She was stabbed during an attack in the early hours of Friday (November 10).
The assault is said to have been witnessed by her two young children. A 45-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder following a manhunt.
Greater Manchester Police has made a domestic homicide review referral in relation to the case, the Manchester Evening News has learned.
