The family of a 'bubbly, bright and beautiful' woman have shared their heartache after she died aged 31 - just days after complaining of a headache.
Kirsty Hendry's mother criticised the care she received at Tameside General Hospital after an inquest heard claims that doctors wrongly dismissed her condition as being linked to cannabis use, illegal drug use, and her mental health.
An inquest at Stockport Coroner's Court heard a number of hospital trust policies weren't followed after Miss Hendry's admission in April this year.
A CT scan was wrongly interpreted by a radiologist and 'missed' evidence of a bleed on her brain, a coroner heard, but it 'would not have changed the outcome for her'.
